Latest reports from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus,
this morning reveals that the Students of the Institution has ignited a protest
to show their displeasure over the Latest tuition fee hike at the Institution.
It was reported that over N15,000 was added to the New
tuition fee of the University, representing her Internet(Lionet) fee and other
allied fees.
One of the eye witness from that institution(UNN) was quoted as saying: “There is riot in
UNEC now over the school fees issue. The police blocked the main gate in UNEC
to prevent people from entering the campus. God help us. That money is too
much”
We sincerely plead with the management of the University of
Nigeria, to do something about the New born riot, so as to avoid the impending
danger!
